New for 2009! Offering the same fit and durability provided by Mountainsmith’s classic Dog Pack, the Sport Line Dog Pack provides a more streamlined profile for active dogs. Fully adjustable, the Sport Line Dog Pack incorporates carrying options for toys, food and other gear.
An adjustable fleece-lined belly harness and adjustable padded sternum strap maximize fit and prevent chafing. Straps are independently adjustable to fully stabilize the fit of the Sport Line Dog Pack.
The right side of Sport Line Dog Pack features a large saddle pack with a weather-resistant zipper. On the left side of the pack, there are two independent, zippered pockets. Each is accessed by a weather-resistant zipper and the smaller of the two pockets features mesh construction on the bottom of the pack which is ideal for wet tennis balls or other gear that requires ventilation and drainage. A bungee strap system on the top of the Sport Line Dog pack allows you to lash additional gear to the top of the pack.
A haul handle on the top of the Sport Line Dog Pack enables you to quickly secure your dog when necessary. An integrated D-ring attachment point allows you to conveniently clip a leash directly to the Sport Line Dog Pack. Reflective trim grants a measure of visibility and safety to the pack.
The Mountainsmith Sport Line Dog Pack is available in Medium and Large size offerings. The following suggested measurements are provided for appropriate sizing: The Medium fits an adjustable girth range (taken at the widest part of your dog’s ribcage) of 24"-36", a minimum length (nape of neck to base of tail) of 19" and a suggested weight range of 35-70 pounds. The Large fits a girth range of 32"-44", a minimum length of 22" and a suggested weight range of 60-100 pounds. NOTE: For in-between sizes, choose the smaller pack for a lighter load and less bulk.
