The Mountainsmith Dog Backpack has loads of features both you and your dog will appreciate. The pack is comfortable for your dog, and offers you great organization.

The Mountainsmith dog pack features fleece lined straps and buckles to prevent chafing on your dog's belly, and make the pack more comfortable for your dog to wear. Straps are independently adjustable at the chest, shoulders and hips to stabilize the fit.

The right of the Mountainsmith dog pack features a zippered main compartment, with a smaller zippered inner compartment to help you stay organized. On the left side, there's another large zippered compartment, and a Velcro strapped mesh pocket for items you want to keep handy. On top is a bungee strap to hold additional items.

The dog pack has a top handle for carrying the pack while it's off the dog. There's also a D-ring on the harness for clipping on a leash.

Small size fits 20-40 lb. dogs.

Dislikes: I bought the medium, it was too big for my dog, I bought the small and it was too small. There is not enough adjustment to make it fit.

Likes: This is a great pack with lots of features normally found on "people-packs". The best feature is the covering around the straps that go around the dog's chest/neck. Other packs I looked at have less complete padding/cushion

Dislikes: This isn't a complaint so much as a warning. Buy a pack smaller than you think will fit your dog. My 58 lb American Foxhound uses a SMALL, because of the shape of her body. The info says the small should only fit dogs to 40 lb. The small means that the pack bags are smaller than I would like, but worth it to have the pack fit snugly.
