A versatile, streamlined offering, the Mountainsmith Covert LX pack provides functionality for air travel and dayhiking. Constructed of tenacious and durable fabrics and equipped with internal support, the Covert LX is built to withstand the pounding of your active lifestyle.

The Covert LX boasts a fully-adjustable suspension system, sternum strap, load-lifter straps and a padded waistbelt that enhance fit and provide comfort for carrying the pack. A Delrin hoop gives structure to the main packbag and an HDPE framesheet further bolsters the Covert LX. Soft, breathable fabrics and extensive ventilated padding in the backpanel further help to cushion your load. Side compression straps help to increase stability and ensure that the contents of the Covert LX don't shift during your flight or while on your back.

The large main compartment of the Covert LX is accessed by a heavy-duty zipper that provides wide open access to the packbag. Mesh organization pockets on the interior of the packbag provide storage options. Zippers on the outside of the packbag grant access to three additional pockets.

Once you’ve reached your destination, the Covert LX reveals a detachable 1340 cubic inch capacity day pack with fully functional shoulder straps and waistbelt. An internal neoprene sleeve safely carries laptops!

A top handle and an additional haul handle on the bottom panel of the Covert LX prove handy when retrieving the pack from luggage carousels. A removable shoulder strap further enhances carrying capability in airports and train terminals, allowing you to haul the Covert LX like a duffel.
