The Typhon Glove employs Mountain Hardwear’s OutDry waterproof technology. Bonded directly to the inside of the glove’s shell, the OutDry waterproof/breathable membrane is completely protected by the outside elements. Wind, rain, and snow can’t find their way inside the glove and your hand stays warm and dry. By eliminating a floating insert layer, OutDry also helps to reduce bulk and weight while improving dexterity.
The shell of the Typhon Glove is made of high-tenacity 4-Way stretch nylon. A durable, water-resistant leather palm helps to maintain dexterity. A wool liner offers increased warmth and can be removed when not needed. With welded grip patches on the digits, the liner can even be worn independently in less demanding conditions.
A full coverage gauntlet ensures that snow and spindrift are unable to reach your wrist or hand. A one-handed SimpleCinch closure makes it easy to adjust the fit of the gauntlet.
