New for 2009! An excellent balance of size, weight and performance, the versatile Mountain Hardwear Supernatural 55 internal frame pack is well-suited for weekend or multi-day backpacking trips. A supportive suspension and an array of features equip the Supernatural 55 for backcountry adventure.
Ensuring stability and a proper fit, the Supernatural 55’s suspension employs a full HDPE framesheet and an alloy perimeter shaping rod. A dual-density foam waistbelt bolsters stability while providing free range of motion. Extensive padding throughout the backpanel and waistbelt helps to cushion your load. Load-lifter straps, a sternum strap and shoulder strap/waistbelt adjustability allow you to make on-trail fine-tunings to keep you comfortable.
The streamlined main packbag of the Supernatural 55 features top-loading access. In addition, the Supernatural 55 has a front-accessed sleeping bag compartment. Side compression straps enable you to cinch down the pack, enhancing load transfer and ensuring that contents remain in place. The lid of the Supernatural 55 has two integrated storage compartments and can be removed entirely when not needed or if you’re looking to shed weight. A daisy chain provides numerous attachment points, allowing you to lash gear externally. An internal, lined sleeve makes the Supernatural 55 hydration system (sold separately) compatible.
The Mountain Hardwear Supernatural is available in Small (2850 cu in/16-18 torso fit range), Med (17.5-19.5) and Large (3650 cu in/19-21) sizes and your choice of color options.
