Extreme pre-curve patterning with rugged Kevlar stitching provides excellent fit and dexterity. Durable and water resistant pig skin on the palm and fingers adds durability. A removable, trigger mitt liner made from 380 weight fleece bolsters the Spearhead Mitt's modular versatility and offers extra warmth on the coldest of days.
The Spearhead Mitt employs Mountain Hardwear's OutDry waterproof/breathable technology. Bonded directly to the inside of the mitt's shell, the OutDry membrane is completely protected from the outside elements. Wind, rain, and snow are unable to reach inside the mitt so your hand stays warm and dry. By eliminating a floating insert layer, OutDry also helps to reduce bulk and weight while improving dexterity.
A full coverage gauntlet keeps snow and spindrift from entering the mitt. A one-handed SimpleCinch with cord lock closure makes it easy to adjust the fit of the gauntlet.
