New for 2008! The high-performance Hardwear Sojourn 2 is designed for 2-person, 3-season backpacking and camping. Weatherproof features and trusted Mountain Hardwear construction enable the Sojourn 2 to stand up to trying conditions while breathable mesh panels provide ventilation.

Clip construction makes it easy to connect the fabric body of the Sojourn 2 to the lightweight Atlas 7001 aluminum poles. Freestanding, the Sojourn 2 is rugged enough for 3-season usage in a variety of conditions. Mountain Hardwear further ensures performance with its patented Guaranteed Watertight Construction. The fully-taped seams and welded construction of each model of Mountain Hardwear tent are tested in a custom-made "rain room" which subjects the tent to 1200 inches of wind-driven rain over the course of 24 hours.

The Sojourn 2 offers 28.4 sq. ft. of usable interior space. Dual vestibules provide a combined 21 sq. ft. of additional sheltered space for storing gear or wet, muddy boots.

Utilizing extensive coverage of No-See-Um netting, the body of the Sojourn 2 offers maximum ventilation, combating the build-up of condensation. An integrated rainfly window provides a view to the outside and increases livability, especially on dreary days when you're forced to spend the day inside your tent. Reflective highlights and guy out loops provide visibility for those times when you need to set up after dark.

For faster, lighter travel in warm weather conditions, you can attach the compatible, custom-fit footprint (sold separately) to the tent fly, eliminating the tent body, and reducing the packed weight of the Sojourn 2 from 5 lb 3 oz to just 3 lb 13 oz!
