New for 2008! The perfect marriage of style and rugged durability, the Mountain Hardwear Paladin backpack is built for urban adventure. Heavy-duty construction and an array of organizational features ensure that the Paladin stands up to the wear and tear of urban commutes.

The padded backpanel and shoulder straps of the Paladin employ breathable mesh to help keep you cool and comfortable. Ventilation channels further enhance airflow between the Paladin and your back. Side compression straps aid in effective load distribution. A webbed waistbelt offers further stability and can be removed entirely when not needed. Patented HardWear tarp material sheds water and maximizes durability.

Features abound on the Paladin. An externally-accessed sleeve carries laptops up to 17" wide. Internal sleeves protect folders, papers and magazines. A zippered front pocket and an organizer pocket tucked under the Paladin's lid offer further organizational options. A cell phone pocket is located on the shoulder strap for quick, easy access. A small, fleece-lined pocket protects electronics, sunglasses and other valuables. Elastic external water bottle pockets keeps hydration at the ready.
