Designed with input from elite speed mountaineering athlete Ueli Steck, the Mtn Speed 32 Degree is insulated with 850+ fill down and employs design features entirely focused on weight savings.
The certified 850+ fill goose down insulation allows the bag to offer lofty warmth for three-season adventures and be compressed to a very small and lightweight package that easily stows in a backpack or alpine climbing pack. Industry leading, lightweight construction includes tight, 5 inch baffle spacing to maximize loft and the streamlined performance mummy cut improves thermal efficiency by eliminating empty space inside the bag and also cuts back on the overall weight and packed size.
The five chambered hood design maintains consistent warmth around the head while a down filled face gasket comfortably blocks cold, drafty air from entering the bag. Single-handed drawcords simplify the adjustments around the face. An insulated draft tube sewn behind the half-length zipper keeps cold air from reaching the inside of the Mtn Speed 32 and an anti-snag zipper panel helps to avoid irritating and damaging snags. Mountain Hardwear's Comfort Foot Box allows for natural foot position and maximum warmth and comfort.
The Mountain Hardwear Mtn Speed 32 Degree sleeping bag is available in Regular (fits up to 6' 6") and Long (fits up to 7' 0") lengths. A stuff sack is included.
