Offering UPF 50 sun protection, the Mesa Convertible Pant is made from Mountain Hardwear's durable nylon Canyon Twill II fabric and features a micro-chamois lined waistband with rotated seams at the hip to ensure comfortable fit and wear even under a pack hip belt.
The Mesa V.2 Convertible Pant has a relaxed fit with a 32" inseam. A full-length inseam gusset with articulated knees increases your mobility for rock scrambling or climbing rough terrain. The lower portion of the pant legs can be zipped off, converting to shorts with an 11" inseam. Mesh panels in the pockets drain quickly after a river crossing or an unexpected swim and multiple pockets, including a zippered side pocket with key clip, are perfect for stowing a knife or keys.
