Clip construction makes it easy to connect the fabric body of the Lightpath 2 to the lightweight Atlas 7001 aluminum poles. Though not freestanding, once pitched, the Lightpath 2 is rugged enough for 3-season usage in a variety of conditions. Mountain Hardwear further ensures performance with its patented Guaranteed Watertight Construction. The fully-taped seams and welded construction of each model of Mountain Hardwear tent are tested in a custom-made "rain room" which subjects the tent to 1200 inches of wind-driven rain over the course of 24 hours.

The Lightpath 2 offers 30 square feet of usable interior space. A large vestibule at the zippered front door provides 10 square feet of additional sheltered space for storing gear or wet, muddy boots.

Utilizing extensive mesh construction, the body of the Lightpath 2 offers maximum ventilation, combating the build-up of condensation. An integrated rainfly window provides a view to the outside and increases livability, especially on dreary days when you're forced to spend the day inside your tent. Reflective highlights and guy out loops provide visibility for those times when you need to set up after dark.

The lightweight materials in the tent body, floor, fly, poles and buckles keeps the minimum weight of the Mountain Hardwear Lightpath 2 at a mere 3 pounds 13 ounces. For faster, lighter travel in warm weather conditions, you can attach the compatible, custom-fit footprint (sold separately) to the tent fly, leave the tent body at home and reduce the packed weight of the Lightpath 2 to just 3 pounds 2 ounces.
