Roomy and extremely sturdy, the Mountain Hardwear Light Wedge 2 is ready-made for two-person, three-season backpacking or camping. The Light Wedge 2 relies on time-tested Mountain Hardwear design features and weatherproof construction to tackle varied climates and demanding conditions. Clip construction makes it easy to connect the fabric body of the Light Wedge 2 to the lightweight Atlas 7001 aluminum poles. Patented PowerClips are simple to use and increase overall strength by providing more secure connections at those points at which poles intersect. An integrated Tension Shelf bolsters the strength of the Light Wedge 2's vestibule, increases headroom and doubles as an interior storage space. Mountain Hardwear further ensures performance with its Guaranteed Watertight Construction. The fully-taped seams and welded construction of each model of Mountain Hardwear tent are tested in a custom-made "rain room" which subjects the tent to 1200 inches of wind-driven rain over the course of 24 hours. The Light Wedge 2 offers nearly 35 sq. ft. of usable interior space. A vestibule in front of the large, zippered D-shape door provides over 8.5 sq. feet of additional sheltered space for storing gear or wet, muddy boots. Extensive sections of No-See-Um netting in the door and walls of the Light Wedge 2 combat the build-up of condensation and offer maximum ventilation. An integrated rainfly window provides a view to the outside and increases livability, especially on dreary days when you're forced to spend the day inside your tent. Reflective highlights and guy out loops provide visibility for those times when you need to set up after dark. The Mountain Hardwear Light Wedge 2 weighs 5 lb. 6 oz. For faster, lighter travel in warm weather conditions, you can attach the compatible, custom-fit footprint (sold-separately) to the tent fly, eliminating the tent body, and reducing the packed weight of the Light Wedge 2 to just over 4 pounds.
