Product Highlights

Employing welded technology and lofty synthetic fill, the Mountain Hardwear Lamina 20 Degree is ideal for three-season camping. A generous mummy-cut aids in thermal efficiency without being as restrictive as traditional mummy bags. The Lamina 20 Degree bag offers durable camping performance at an economical price.

The Lamina 20 Degree is insulated with compressible, durable Thermic Micro synthetic fill. Though still not as compressible as natural down fill, breathable and fast-drying Thermic Micro, unlike down fill, is water-resistant and continues to provide warmth even when wet. This is particularly important if you'll be camping in wet weather or humid climates.

Unlike traditional stitched baffles, the horizontal baffles of the Lamina 20 Degree are welded to the shell and liner. While ensuring that the Thermic Micro fill is distributed evenly throughout the Lamina 20 Degree, these baffles also avoid the pinching that can happen to fill during stitching. The welded construction helps to improve the overall loft of the Thermic Micro fill and increase the lifespan of the insulation.

An insulated, contoured hood helps reduce heat loss and keeps your head warm and comfortable. An integrated draft collar keeps your face warm, locks heat inside the Lamina 20 Degree and prevents cold air from creeping into the interior of the bag. Enhancing comfort and warmth, Mountain Hardwear's patented Comfort Footbox creates ergonomic, insulated space for your feet.

A full-length zipper allows you to open up the Lamina 20 Degree for ventilation on warmer nights. A small zippered pocket inside the sleeping bag provides a secure place to store keys or other valuables.

The Mountain Hardwear Lamina 20 Degree sleeping bag is available in Regular (fits up to 6'0") and Long (fits to 6' 6") lengths and your choice of Left or Right zippers. Each Lamina 20 Degree sleeping bag includes a stuff sack and a nylon mesh storage bag.

Likes: Keeps me warm. Works well for backpacking. Way better than The North Face Cats Meow, and cheaper.

Dislikes: A little heavy but not much to worry about.

Likes: This is a very nice sleeping bag. For a synthetic fill bag this is pretty lightweight (3 pounds). It packs down small into the provided compression sack. I like the roomy footbox design. I bought this as a 3 season bag. I believe the temperature rating is accurate for cold sleepers. It got down into the 40's and I was just too hot. Ultimately, I ended up trading this in for a 45 degree Mountain Hardwear bag of the same style to compensate for me being a warm sleeper and it has been working out great. I still gave it 5 stars because the bag is great, but I misjudged the temperature rating needed.

Dislikes: Temperature rating would be accurate for cold sleepers. Since I am a warm sleeper this ended up being too much bag for me. Perhaps a better guideline/standard to select temperature rating for bags would be helpful.
