A lightweight, 20D rip stop nylon shell combined with 650-fill goose down insulation makes it easy to bring this jacket along on any winter backcountry trip. The included stuff sack lets you stow the Kelvinator Jacket in a pack and keeps it at the ready at chilly rest stops, on summits or in camp. It'll even double as a pillow at night!
The low profile, insulated hood and full elastic cuffs move smoothly over layers and fit well under the hood and sleeves of a shell jacket. Dual hem drawcords keep cold winds out while sealing warmth in and a micro-chamois lined chin guard feels comfortable against a chilled chin. Two front hand pockets on the Kelvinator Jacket warm cold fingers or "defrost" an energy bar. An internal zippered pocket stows smaller items like keys or a cell phone.
