Product Highlights
Perfect for those individuals who go camping in multiple seasons and expect to encounter varied temperatures, the unique Mountain Hardwear Flip 25/40 Degree is a sleeping bag that adjusts to your needs. One side of the semi-rectangular Flip 25/40 Degree is designed for warm temperatures while the other side has enhanced insulation for colder nights in the backcountry. The Switch 35 Degree sleeping bag is insulated with compressible, durable Thermolite Extra synthetic fill. Though still not as compressible as natural down fill, breathable and fast-drying Thermolite Extra, unlike down fill, is water-resistant and continues to provide warmth even when wet. This is particularly important if you'll be camping in wet weather or humid climates. The offset quilt construction of the Flip 25/40 Degree sleeping bag ensures that insulation is distributed evenly throughout the bag. This design aids in the elimination of cold spots and provides consistent comfort. In mild weather and balmy nights, the 40 degree side of the Flip 25/40 Degree bag provides protection and comfort without causing you to sweat. On colder nights, turn the Flip 25/40 Degree to the other side and enjoy the warmth of a 25 degree temperature rating. Adding to the Flip 25/40 Degree's functionality as a camping sleeping bag, the completely full-length zipper allows the Flip 25/40 to be entirely unzipped for use as a blanket. This design also allows the Flip 25/40 to be zipped together with a second semi-rectangular bag for use as a double bag. The Mountain Hardwear Flip 25/40 Degree sleeping bag is only available in a Regular (fits up to 6'0") length.
