The lightweight and packable Mountain Hardwear Epic Jacket is a perfect companion on any hike or backpacking trip where wind and rain threaten to send you indoors. The waterproof/breathable Epic Jacket weighs in at just 14 ounces!

Offering fully-featured 3-season protection, the durable and lightweight Epic Jacket wards off rain while maintaining maximum breathability. Keeping you dry and comfortable, Mountain Hardwear's Conduit Barrier technology allows moisture vapor inside your jacket to pass through the fabric to the outside without letting rain and wind inside. This durable fabric takes the wear-and-tear of the trail while pit-zips and two mesh front pockets allow for increased ventilation.

Other features of the Epic Jacket include an attached, roll-away hood with a stiff brim for added protection, a Stormflap over the front zipper, two zippered hand pockets, dual hem drawcords, a micro chamois lined chin guard and adjustable Velcro cuffs for quick fit and comfort.

Available in a variety of size and color options, the Epic Jacket has a semi-fitted cut that layers well over lightweight to medium fleece, sweaters or base layers.

Likes: The slick finish inside and out makes this jacket a perfect rain shedder plus a good outer-shell over say a down vest or jacket.The color zour jumps out at you and can be seen along ways off.

Dislikes: Can't think of any right off the bat,seems to be just what the doctor ordered.

Likes: This jacket keeps me dry even in the hardest down pours and keeps me warm on those windy mornings at camp. Its light enough to stow away in my back pack for emergencies when the weather turns for the worst. I am 6'2" and 170 lbs and the large fits me well with room to layer on some warmth underneath. It is truly an EPIC jacket!

Dislikes: It doesn't stow away and pack into one of its own pockets like some other light weight rain jackets do.

Likes: the jacket fits well and looks equally as nice. It provides the warmth and protection I was looking for and look forward to using it when I go hiking in a few weeks.

Dislikes: Sometimes the zipper binds mid way, but hardly a real issue.
