Polartec NeoShell fabrics not only make the Marmot Women’s Zion Jacket lightweight and waterproof, but also provide breathability and stretch for skiing, winter trekking, climbing or mountaineering. The Women’s Zion Jacket's membrane allows air to pull moisture vapor out of the garment, so it helps to keep you dry during high-exertion activities.
A few of the features on the Women’s Zion Jacket include an attached, adjustable storm hood with a laminated brim, water resistant zippers and asymmetrical cuffs with Velcro adjustments. Marmot also includes their Angel-Wing Movement design for full mobility throughout the arms, shoulders and torso to prevent the jacket from riding up. Durable shoulder abrasion panels help to hold pack straps in place and the soft shell fabric is much quieter than traditional hard shells.
The Women’s Zion Jacket includes four external pockets with water resistant zippers; two hand pockets, one chest pocket and one zippered sleeve pocket. An elastic drawcord hem and asymmetrical cuffs with velcro adjustments allow you to seal out cold wind and snow when the weather gets serious.
