While the intent of most sleeping bags is to provide maximum insulation against cold temperatures, they are often times uncomfortably warm for summer and warm weather use. Marmot's Trails Summer Bag/Bag Liner is a unique insulation-less offering that provides a barrier against cold air without the unneeded weight and temperature-assistance.

The Trails Summer Bag/Bag Liner is lined with moisture-resistant Micro DriClime tricot but does not have any actual insulation, allowing it to serve as an ideal summer bag. The bag can also serve as a liner when used with other sleeping bags, effectively increasing the temperature rating and offering additional protection to the interior of the other bag. A full-length zipper extends around the feet of the bag, allowing the Trails Summer Bag/Bag Liner to be completely unzipped and used as a blanket.

The Marmot Trails Summer Bag/Bag Liner is available in Regular (fits up to 6'0") and Long (fits up to 6'6") lengths. A stuff sack is included.

Likes: I took a 9-day canoe trip in Canada this August and my Marmot trestles Trails bag was great for the warm nights. However some nights I woke up cold during the nihgt from being cold. I wold say that the bag works well in anywhere from 60 F and warmer. Fifty degeres is pushing comfort level.

Dislikes: Does not keep heat in but its designed for summer use, so what can you expect.

Likes: I found this back to very useful. Just went on a five day canoe trip and this bag tucks away nicely and the zipper setup on the bag works well. Great for a summer night and the lining is very comfortable.

Dislikes: The stuff sack it comes with is a little big for the bag. But, I used it to hold some other items for the tent. So not real negatives.
