Product Highlights

The Marmot Trestles 0 Degree sleeping bag is an affordable, no-frills offering for cold-weather camping. The synthetic fill makes the Trestles 0 Degree a good option even in damp or humid conditions.

The Trestles 0 Degree is insulated with Marmot's proprietary Spirafil 120 synthetic fill. A unique blend of 3Denier and 1Denier polyester fibers, Spirafil 120 is warm and compressible. Unlike down fill, this breathable, fast-drying insulation is water-resistant and provides warmth even when wet. This is particularly important if you'll be backpacking or camping in wet weather or humid climates.

Wave baffle construction eliminates cold spots and provides comfort. A contoured, ergonomic hood mirrors the design of Marmot's popular outerwear jackets, helps reduce heat loss and keeps your head warm and comfortable. An integrated hood muff snugly protects your face and keeps cold air from sneaking into the Trestles 0 Degree. A draft tube sewn behind the zipper keeps cold air from reaching the inside of the sleeping bag and zipper guards help to avoid irritating and damaging snags. Marmot's patented Trapezoid Foot Box is wider at the toes and narrower at the heels, providing a more natural fit and improving warmth and comfort. In addition to the full-length zipper, a second, shorter section of zipper on the opposite side of the sleeping bag allows the top of the bag to fold down, increasing ventilation on warm nights.

The Marmot Trestles 0 Degree is available in Regular (fits up to 6'0") and Long (fits up to 6'6") lengths and is available in Left and Right full-length zipper options for your convenience. A compression stuff sack is included.

Likes: I just took this out for the first time this past weekend on the appalachian trail near Hot Springs, NC and while it wasn't extremely cold at night, probably 20's at lowest, I slept warm all night long. Very comfortable. From one use, I would judge this to be a high quality product.

Dislikes: Weight and size. I know getting a zero degree any lighter or smaller than this is for the most part impossible... but I mean, we put someone on the moon. Surely we can find some sort of material that allows for a 2 lb 0 degree bag.

Likes: It was well made and I liked the extra zipper & tight fit around the face - it is a 0 degree bag. Easy to get in & out of. I wanted a non-down bag and this fit that requirement. My snow searches can get wet easily. Very warm though I could not test it in the field - see below dislikes. Very inexpensive - a great value.

Dislikes: I am in Search & Rescue. My group has imposed new winter gear requirements - 3 Day 0 degree pack. I am NOT made of money so this bag looked excellent. And I was willing to carry a little extra weight for comfort. The fatal flaw (caused me to return the bag) was that it was TOO big to fit in my 6500L pack's sleeping bag compartment.

Likes: I got the left side zip because they were sold out of the right hand zipper. I am right handed and just noticed that I prefer left handed bags. I like almost everything about this bag. It is warm. It comes with a stuff sack. The color is very attractive. The inside is black which is smart. The zipper pulls glow in the dark. The zipper is kept away from your body by a flap so you never have that ice cold zipper on you. It has a two way zip so you can let your feet out the bottom if you want. Overall, I love this bag and feel I got it at a great price.

Dislikes: The bag is a little bulky and heavy even when compressed but it is a 0% synthetic bag so that is normal. It is hard to get back in stuff sack.

Likes: This sleeping bag seems to be really well constructed. Very lofty and compresses easily into the compression sack provided. The EN rating is also very comforting knowing you have a real 0 degree bag.

Dislikes: Kind of heavy at 5 pounds.
