Designed with the expected features and fabrics of Marmot's PreCip and MemBrain Strata technology, the PreCip Shell Mitt offers lightweight waterproof and windproof protection for hikers and backpackers in cool, wet environments.
The outer shell is built from waterproof/breathable MemBrain Strata with a MemBrain insert for full weather protection. The inside of the mitten is lined with Marmot's DriClime bi-component wicking fabric for a soft, dry feel against your skin. This lightweight and packable mitt can be worn alone during aerobic activities, where heavy warmth is not needed, or it can be layered over light liner gloves or mittens (sold separately) in wet, chilly weather.
Other features of the PreCip Shell Mitt include a gauntlet with quickdraw closure, a safety leash and a pairing clip to secure the mitts to each other when not in use and Marmot's falcon grip for improved dexterity.
