Product Highlights

Fully waterproof, breathable and durable enough for the trail, the Marmot PreCip Pant is an excellent lightweight option for hikers and backpackers seeking reliable protection from wet and windy weather. Weighing only 9 ounces and offering fully-featured 3-season protection, the Precip Pant keeps out rain and offers maximum breathability.

Marmot's Precip Technology offers a waterproof/breathable coating that has been reinforced with ceramic particles for added durability. Dry Touch comfort feels smooth and silky against the skin and won't stick to your legs in warmer temperatures, keeping you dry and comfortable. The Precip Pant is a reliable option for backcountry adventure in wet weather and packs into a zippered pocket for easy storage when the weather is nice.

Other features of the Precip Pant include an elastic waist with a draw cord, zip front hand pockets and a single back zippered pocket. Ankle side zips have snap tabs at the cuff for adjustability and added convenience for taking the Precip Pant on and off without having to remove your shoes.

Available in a variety of sizes, the Marmot Precip Pant has a relaxed fit that layers well over base layers, hiking pants or shorts.

Dislikes: A bit tough to put on without first removing boots.

Likes: High quality rain pants at a very affordable price. Size is true to sizing chart. I'm 6'/195lbs and ordered the size LG/Short (34-36 waist/30.5 inseam). Perfect fit. Order processing was quick and packaging was done well.

    Dislikes: No dislikes

Likes: Best feature: I can put the pants on and off with my hiking shoes on. They fold up very small. I have a matching Marmot precip jacket and I love the combo.

Dislikes: No complaints here... Its Marmot.

Likes: Great for the price. Seems like they will last a while.

Dislikes: They don't breathe too well?

Likes: Solid rain pants. And I like the shorter seams, makes for a better fitting and performing garment for me. I've always had good luck with precip, a decent technology at a good price.

Dislikes: Nothing really, got what I expected.

    Likes: Looked like quality construction

Dislikes: It was cut too tight in the crotch area and did not leave alot of room for movement.

Likes: I don't want to give a bad rating because I am sure they work in the rain based on the fabric and construction, but the fit was terrible.

Dislikes: They are quite stiff and have a low, awkward crotch that limits motion.

Likes: very comfortable and lightweight. These will come in handy when backpacking.

Dislikes: The pants are noisy when you walk. I guess that's just the nature of the material itself.
