Likes: Good fit. Great water repellency. Probably the best rain pants I've ever used, and that includes years of using water repellant gear in the army.

    Dislikes: Nothing

Likes: i have another pair of Marmot PreCip rain pants, but only with the zipper around the ankle...which doesn't really zip up enough to get a pair of Vasque boots over. Instead, I usually have to take my boots off to put my rain pants on, particularly when my boots are muddy from hiking. This is particularly inconvenient with a pop up rain shower. As such, when I purchased a pair of rain pants for my son for Christmas, I purchased the full-zip pants for him. He loves them. Not only do they allow you to easily put them on over any size hiking boot, they also allow you to zip the pants open to get air when it stops raining for a while. The full zip pants are much more versatile.

Dislikes: The only complaint I have is that they get hot and the fabric is loud when hiking, but that's pretty much the case with any rain pants. Of course, the flip side of them getting hot is that they're a great source of protection when hiking in cold/snowy weather. I probably use my rain pants more when hiking in cold weather than I do in rain as I try to stay away from hiking when rain is predicted.
