Marmot accounts for the anatomical differences between male and female campers and hikers when constructing gender-specific sleeping bags. A tapered cut provides a narrower fit at the shoulders and a wider flare at the hips to ensure a comfortable fit and maximum thermal efficiency. The shorter lengths of Marmot's women's bags help to avoid cold spots and make certain that your body isn't working unnecessarily to heat uninhabited areas of the bag.

The Pounder Plus 25 Degree Women's sleeping bag is insulated with Primaloft SB synthetic fill. The compression and recovery provided by Primaloft SB is second only to down and superior to most other synthetic fills on the market. Unlike down fill, this breathable, fast-drying insulation is water-resistant and provides warmth even when wet. This is particularly important if you'll be backpacking or camping in wet weather or humid climates.
