Loftily filled with 800-power goose down insulation and protected by wind-resistant ultralight fabrics, the Marmot Ama Dablam Jacket offers exceptional warmth for everything from backpacking to mountaineering to around town use.
Due to the high loft and compressibility of the 800 fill-power goose down, the Ama Dablam Jacket can be packed down small and easily stowed in a pack and pulled out when you need extra warmth. Marmot's Angel Wing movement design in the shoulders keeps the jacket from riding up and offers mobility for cross-country skiing or climbing when the weather is cold enough that you need a layer of insulation under a shell.
Adjustable Velcro/elastic cuffs, an attached, adjustable down-filled hood and an elastic draw cord hem allow cold air to be sealed out of the Ama Dablam Jacket, while wind-resistant, rip-stop fabrics work to keep windy gusts and snow from getting in. A regular styled fit lets you layer weatherproof shells over the Ama Dablam Jacket and makes it equally comfortable to wear alone or over light mid-layers. Two zippered hand warmer pockets, a Napoleon-style chest pocket and an inside zip stuff sack pocket allow you to stow smaller items like a headlamp or cell phone.
The Marmot Ama Dablam Jacket is available in a variety of color and sizes.
