Updated for 2008! Compact, lightweight and sturdy, the Marmot Eos 1P is ideal for thru-hikes or solo outings. Weighing less than 3 pounds and packing down to 17.5 inches by 5.5 inches, the freestanding Eos 1P is a perfect trail companion for backpackers.

The Eos 1P offers over 22 sq. ft. of interior space. The rainfly's integrated vestibule provides a weather-protected entryway and an additional 6.5 sq. ft. of covered storage space. The mesh walls allow ventilation and combat condensation. The weatherproof ripstop floor and rainfly combine to protect the interior of the Eos 1P from the elements.

The Eos 1P's DAC Featherlite aluminum hub-pole keeps packed weight to a minimum and provides solid, freestanding support. Integrated clips allow the body of the Eos 1P to attach quickly, easily and securely to the poles. The freestanding design enables you to set up the tent and then move it around your chosen campsite to find the optimal rock-and-root-free position!

A compatible, custom-fit footprint (sold separately) can be used to further protect the floor of the Marmot Eos 1P from sharp objects, mud and ground water.
