Product Highlights

Designed to appeal to entry-level backpackers and no-frills enthusiasts, the Marmot Earlylight 2P tent offers exceptional 3-season functionality at an unbelievable price! Marmot even throws in a gear loft and footprint at no additional cost! The lightweight, durable Earlylight 2P is large enough for two and lightweight enough to be used as an extra roomy solo tent.

The Earlylight 2P offers 30 square feet of interior space. The rainfly's integrated dual vestibules provide weather-protected entryways and an additional 18 square feet of covered storage space. A gear loft is included and clips into the ceiling of the Earlylight 2P, serving as a convenient, out-of-the-way storage option.

Support is provided by lightweight DAC Featherlite aluminum poles. Integrated clips allow the body of the Earlylight 2P to attach quickly, easily and securely to the poles. The freestanding design enables you to set up the tent and then move it around your chosen campsite to find the optimal rock-and-root-free position! Reflective highlights in the fabric of the Earlylight 2P make it easy to spot when returning to camp after dark or in low-light conditions.

Mesh panels in the walls of the Earlylight 2P and an integrated rainfly vent offer cross-ventilation and combat condensation. The weatherproof ripstop floor and rainfly combine to protect the interior of the Earlylight 2P from the elements. Even in those instances when weather is uncooperative and leaves you stranded inside the Earlylight 2P, an integrated window in the rainfly allows you to view the outside world. A custom-fit footprint is included to further protect the floor of the Marmot Earlylight 2P from sharp objects, mud and ground water.

The Marmot Earlylight 2P is available in your choice of colors.

Colors available: Hatch/Dark Cedar, Pale Pumpkin/Terracotta

Marmot part numbers: 27540-4260, 27540-9198

Likes: Easy to put up. I have used this tent in high winds, hot weather and even on a couple of trips with snow and it has performed well.

Dislikes: Pretty tight for 2 adults. I am 6'1 and wouldn't want to be any taller in this tent.

Likes: Great tent- easy set up- sturdy and you won't get wet.

Dislikes: Absolutely get the footprint- it adds a little weight but buys alot of security (from wear) and comfort.

Likes: Nice design and colors. Love the 2 doors. Good ventilation. Durable

Dislikes: Prefer the roominess and light pack weight of the Lime Light 2.
