New for 2010! A lightweight option for 3-season backpacking, the Marmot Axiom 25 Degree sleeping bag employs high-performance synthetic insulation that continues to offer thermal efficiency even in damp conditions and wet climates that would render a down bag useless.
The Axiom 25 Degree is insulated with Thermal R – 120 synthetic fill. Lightweight and compressible, this breathable, fast-drying insulation, unlike down insulation, is water-resistant and provides warmth even when wet. This is particularly important if you'll be backpacking or camping in wet weather or humid climates.
Despite its lightweight construction, the Axiom 25 Degree makes no sacrifice with regards to performance and features. Marmot's A-Flex construction employs canted overlapping baffles that efficiently eliminate cold spots and retain heat while maintaining the soft, comfortable loft of the synthetic fill. A contoured hood helps reduce heat loss and keeps your head warm and comfortable. A fully insulated draft tube sewn behind the zipper keeps cold air from reaching the inside of the sleeping bag and zipper guards help to avoid irritating and damaging snags. Marmot's patented Trapezoid Foot Box is wider at the toes and narrower at the heels, providing a more natural fit and improving warmth and comfort.
The Axiom 25 Degree is available in Reg (fits up to 6'0") and Long (fits up to 6' 6") lengths. A stuff sack and storage sack are included.
