New for 2008! With a lightweight design and maximum ventilation, the Marmot Aeros 3P is a perfect option for 3-season backpacking. An innovative pole design maximizes livability by increasing the verticality of the walls and maintaining overhead peak height.

Easily accessed on either side by dual mesh doors, the interior of the Aeros 3P offers 45.5 sq. ft. of floor space. Dual vestibules provide weather-protected entryways to the interior of the tent and add an additional 20 sq. ft. of covered storage space. An optional gear loft (sold separately) clips into the ceiling of the Aeros 3P and serves as an out-of-the-way storage option.

The unique, pre-bent "knees" of the Aeros 3P's DAC Featherlite aluminum poles pull the tent body taut, avoiding the creation of unusable corners frequently found inside less innovative tents and maximizing the livability of the interior of the Aeros 3P.

Extensive mesh on the walls and ceiling of the Aeros 3P ensures excellent ventilation and keeps condensation to a minimum. The weatherproof floor of the Aeros 3P combines with the rainfly's ripstop nylon fabric and silicone/polyurethane coating to protect the interior of tent.

Employing integrated clips, the body of the Aeros 3P attaches quickly, easily and securely to the poles. The freestanding design enables you to set up the tent and then move it around your chosen campsite to find the optimal rock-and-root-free position.

A compatible, custom-fit footprint (sold separately) can be used to further protect the floor of the Marmot Aeros 3P from sharp objects, mud and ground water. For those backpackers who want to further reduce packed weight, the rainfly of the Aeros 3P can be used with just the footprint to serve as a minimalist, ultra-lightweight shelter.
