Product Highlights

A low-profile, incredibly lightweight headlamp, the Mammut S-Flex is ideal for trail-running, backpacking or any type of activity that requires a balance of performance and weight. Multiple lighting settings and a compact design lend the S-Flex versatility.

On the high setting, the S-Flex's powerful HiFlux LED creates a beam that reaches a maximum length of over 65 feet. By utilizing the low setting, you can maximize efficiency and increase burn time to 40 hours. Two integrated red LEDs let you choose between a continuous setting for preserving night vision or a flashing mode for emergency signaling. An adjustable, narrow elastic headband delivers a comfortable fit.

Powered by a single AA Alkaline battery (included), the S-Flex weighs a mere 1.7 ounces. An integrated switch lock ensures that the headlamp isn't inadvertently turned on or off.

The Mammut S-Flex is available in your choice of colors.

Colors available: Black, Blue

Mammut part numbers: 2320-00230 Black, 2320-00230 Blue

Likes: Small, light, and does the job. I loved that it only uses one battery...

Dislikes: The lamp created a lot of glare off of my glasses, which made it difficult to see at times.

Likes: Needs only 1 AA battery. Several settings of white light and a red setting. Swivel to direct light where needed.
Having used this headset on a week-long backpack, I can affirm it's light, portable, bright, and battery-efficient. I read every night in my tent (sleeplessness), and it lasted 9 nights without battery change.

Dislikes: Because of trimmed strap, not all that comfortable, but, hey, what headset is comfy as a pillow?
