An ideal choice for outdoor family adventure, the Possum is made of highly durable 550D polyester with a polyurethane coating for water resistance.

The Possum offers an adjustable torso range to accommodate users of different shapes and sizes. An adjustable panel slides along a single aluminum stay, allowing you to quickly and easily adapt the Possum for use by shorter or taller users. A hinged, internal aluminum frame bar lends sturdy support to the Possum and adjusts and compresses with your spine as you move. Integrated front and rear foot loops offer another measure of safety for loading and unloading your child from the carrier. Foam padding in the backpanel and lumbar region provide comfort to the wearer of the Possum. A dense, fully-padded foam hipbelt aids in load distribution and saves your shoulders from bearing all of the weight. Load lifter straps and an adjustable sternum strap add further comfort and ensure proper fit.

The Possum's child seat is also fully adjustable to accommodate the growth of your child. Integrated front and rear foot loops offer another measure of safety for loading and unloading your child from the carrier. Soft, padded cushions in the top of the interior of the Possum provide safe resting places for your child's chin and head.

A large pocket tucked under the Possum's child safety seat offers over 1500 cubic inches of storage capacity and houses two elastic straps for carrying bottles. A large zippered front pocket provides additional storage space for diapers, clothes or gear. Smaller mesh pockets on the lower portion of the Possum and on the hipbelt provide quick access to smaller items and an additional zippered pocket on the hipbelt is an ideal location for stowing valuables like keys or change. A flexible mirror tucks into a dedicated pocket on the hipbelt, allowing you to keep an eye on your little adventurer without having to strain your neck to look over your shoulder.

The Macpac Possum is suitable for children from 6 months to 4 years of age and can accommodate a total load, including child and pack, of up to 39.5 pounds.
