Lowe Alpine has done extensive research to develop their line of women's-only backpacks. Narrower, contoured harnesses and waistbelts are constructed to better fit the female body. Discovering that men and women carry loads distributed in different ways, Lowe Alpine has designed the packbag of it's women's backpacks to provide greater capacity lower in the pack body, transferring weight from higher on the back. Based on further findings that women prefer to organize their loads differently than men, the TFX Tundra ND 65+15 Women's pack includes two easily-accessed removable zippered waist belt pockets.

Twin lightweight aluminum stays equip the TFX Tundra ND 65+15 Women's backpack with rigid strength for heavy loads. Side compression straps enable you to cinch or expand the depth of the packbag, ensuring that contents remain in place regardless of how heavy a load you are carrying. An extendible spindrift collar expands the full capacity of the TFX Tundra ND 65+15 Women's pack to 4882 cubic inches. Contoured padding on the backpanel, shoulder straps, lumbar panel and waistbelt provide comfort and further enhance your balance. Load-lifter straps and a sliding sternum strap conveniently adjust, allowing you to make micro adjustments while on the move.

Catering to backpackers who appreciate convenient access to the contents of their packs, the main compartment of the TFX Tundra ND 65+15 Women's packbag has both top and front access. The front panel has a horseshoe-shaped zipper to allow nearly full access to the main compartment. A zippered divider between the main compartment and a separate zippered front entry sleeping bag compartment allows for organization of wet and dry gear. When hauling longer items or in need of access between the two compartments, you can unzip the divider and convert the TFX Tundra ND 65+15 Women's pack to a single, large compartment. Large integrated side bellows pockets offer additional locations for storing and organizing gear. The extendible lid with internal and external zippered pockets provides further storage and can be detached when not needed.

An ice axe loop, a trekking pole attachment cord and front daisy-chain attachment loops add to the backcountry versatility of the TFX Tundra ND 65+15 Women's pack. Two mesh side pockets are designed for easy on-trail access to water bottles. A lined interior pocket and built-in tube exit make the TFX Tundra ND 65+15 Women's pack hydration compatible. A removable rain cover offers extra protection against the elements and stows efficiently into a side pocket of the pack. An informative SOS panel is imprinted on the underside of the lid, providing valuable instructions for emergency situations.
