Lightweight, high-tenacity Dyneema fabric keeps the TFX Expedition 75:95's weight to a minimum without skimping on performance.
The TFX 10 back system found on the TFX Expedition 75:95 provides a customized comfortable fit and broad range of adjustability (16"-23") for backpackers of varying torso lengths. Providing maximum balance, the Torso Motion frame system allows the hipbelt to react relative to your spine while the internal frame of the TFX Expedition 75:95 flexes and rotates with your torso. Enhancing comfort, high-performance "rebound" foam on the inside of the lumbar pad responds to the natural curve of your lower back. Twin aluminum stays provide rigid strength for loads of up to 70 pounds. Load-lifter straps and a sliding sternum strap conveniently adjust, allowing you to make micro adjustments while on the move. In addition, Lowe Alpine's trademarked Noggin Notch provides a contoured space for head movement, combating the stiff, sore neck often associated with a long day on the trail.
The large packbag is accessed underneath a protective and pocketed top lid. The lid provides a secure place to store small gear items and can be removed entirely when not needed. An extendible spindrift collar expands the full capacity of the TFX Expedition 75:95 to 6000 cubic inches. Wrap around compression straps enable you to cinch or expand the depth of the packbag, ensuring that contents remain in place regardless of how heavy a load you are carrying. The straps aid in securing gear to the outside of the pack.
Numerous grab handles/haul loops, lash points, twin ice axe loops, ski slots and trekking pole attachment cords add to the TFX Expedition 75:95's versatility in the backcountry. A lightweight climbing belt is included. By swapping out the fully-padded waitsbelt for the lower-profile climbing belt, you can more comfortably carry the TFX Expedition 75:95 while wearing a climbing harness. Two side packets accommodate water bottles and a lined interior pocket and an integrated drinking tube exit make the TFX Expedition 75:95 hydration system (sold separately) compatible. Providing valuable assistance in emergency situations, the buckle on the sternum strap doubles as a whistle and an informative SOS panel is imprinted on the underside of the lid.
