New for 2008! Built for high-performance dayhiking, the Lowe Alpine Crossvent 25 is streamlined and full of features. An innovative, lightweight suspension system offers optimal fit, maximizes airflow and enables hikers to carry loads of up to 22 pounds.

The suspension system on the Crossvent 25 employs four strategically placed padded panels separated by a mesh screen that offers load-hauling support and maximizes airflow.

The standard capacity of the Crossvent 25 is 1500 cubic inches. Side compression straps keep the contents of the Crossvent 25 balanced and secure. Entry to the packbag is gained through the top of the pack or via a large, zippered opening on the front of the pack that offers maximum access. A large front shove-it pocket provides an additional storage option.

Additional features found on the Crossvent 25 include an ice axe/trekking pole attachment and a hide-away raincover. Safety features include an SOS panel imprinted on the underside of the lid and a sternum strap buckle that doubles as a whistle! Mesh side pockets keep water bottles at the ready. An internal sleeve and exit port make the Crossvent 25 hydration compatible.
