Originally built for extreme mountain conditions, the TFX Cerro Torre ND 55+15 Women's offers rugged functionality for extended backcountry trips.

Lowe Alpine has done extensive research to develop their line of women's-only backpacks. Narrower, contoured harnesses and waistbelts are constructed to better fit the female body. Discovering that men and women carry loads distributed in different ways, Lowe Alpine has designed the packbag of it's women's backpacks to provide greater capacity lower in the pack body, transferring weight from higher on the back.

The TFX Torso Fit back system found on the TFX Cerro Torre ND 55+15 Women's pack allows for easy adjustment and a customized, comfortable fit for hikers of varying shapes and sizes. Simply flip up the lumbar pad, loosen the buckle and adjust the torso length by extending or cinching the strap until the color-coded block that matches your torso measurement appears in the buckle. Re-fit the lumbar pad and off you go! Providing maximum balance, the Torso Motion system allows the waistbelt to react relative to your spine while the internal frame of the TFX Cerro Torre ND 55+15 Women's pack flexes and rotates with your torso. Enhancing comfort, high-performance foam on the inside of the lumbar pad responds to the natural curve of your lower back.

Twin lightweight aluminum stays equip the TFX Cerro Torre ND 55+15 Women's pack with rigid strength for heavy loads. Side compression straps enable you to cinch or expand the depth of the packbag, ensuring that contents remain in place regardless of how heavy a load you are carrying. An extendible spindrift collar expands the full capacity of the TFX Cerro Torre ND 55+15 Women's pack to 4300 cubic inches. Contoured padding on the backpanel, shoulder straps, lumbar panel and waistbelt provide comfort and further enhance your balance. Load-lifter straps and a sliding sternum strap conveniently adjust, allowing you to make micro adjustments while on the move.

The TFX Cerro Torre ND 55+15 Women's pack has both top and front access. The zippered front panel allows access to the main compartment. A zippered divider between the TFX Cerro Torre ND 55+15 Women's main compartment and a separate front entry sleeping bag compartment allows for organization of wet and dry gear. When hauling longer items or in need of access between the two compartments, you can unzip the divider and convert the TFX Cerro Torre ND 55+15 Women's pack to a single, large compartment. The extendible lid with internal and external zippered pockets provides further storage and can be detached when not needed.

Ice axe loops, twin trekking pole attachment cords and an elastic external gear storage system add to the TFX Cerro Torre ND 55+15 Women's versatility in the backcountry. A side pocket is designed for easy on-trail access to a water bottle. A lined interior pocket and built-in tube exit make the TFX Cerro Torre ND 55+15 Women's pack hydration compatible. A removable rain cover offers extra protection against the elements and stows efficiently into a dedicated pocket.
