The trail-tested Lowe Alpine Cerro Torre 75:95 XL backpack has retained its durability and load-hauling capability but strategic retooling has reduced its overall weight considerably. Built for extended adventures, the Cerro Torre 75:95 XL pack delivers 5795 cubic inches of storage capacity. Lightweight, high-tenacity TriShield GRID fabric keeps the Cerro Torre 75:95 XL's weight to a minimum without skimping on performance.
The Axiom+ back system found on the Cerro Torre 75:95 XL provides a customized comfortable fit and broad range of adjustability for backpackers of varying torso lengths. Providing maximum balance, with anatomically shaped back panel allows the hipbelt to rotate and react relative to your spine while the lightweight sprung steel frame of the Cerro Torre 75:95 XL flexes and rotates with your torso. Enhancing comfort, high-performance "rebound" foam on the inside of the lumbar pad responds to the natural curve of your lower back and provides extra support for heavy loads. Twin aluminum stays provide rigid strength for loads of up to 70 pounds. Load-lifter straps and a sliding sternum strap conveniently adjust, allowing you to make micro adjustments while on the move.
Access points abound on the Cerro Torre 75:95 XL. You can reach the spacious packbag through the top of the pack or through a U-shaped front zipper. An additional lower compartment with front entry is designed to stow sleeping bags. A zippered divider between the two main compartments allows for organization of wet and dry gear. When hauling longer items or in need of access between the two compartments, you can unzip the divider and convert the Cerro Torre 75:95 XL to a single, large compartment. The extendible lid with internal and external zippered pockets provides further storage and can be detached entirely when not needed. The hipbelt also includes a zippered external pocket for easy access to essentials on the trail.
Stowable ice axe loops and unique trekking/ski pole tip grippers add to the Cerro Torre 75:95 XL's versatility in the backcountry. Stretch side pockets are designed for easy on-trail access to water bottles and a lined internal pocket and a removable separate hydration pack made of strong and light 100D ripstop nylon is also integrated. A removable rain cover offers extra protection against the elements and stows efficiently into a dedicated pocket in the pack's lid. Providing valuable assistance in emergency situations, the buckle on the sternum strap doubles as a whistle and an informative SOS panel is imprinted on the underside of the lid.
