LEKI's Multi-Medical COR-TEC grip is made from 80% natural ground cork and 20% latex, making it lightweight, strong and comfortable. The versatile design offers cane-style and staff-style gripping options.

The Wanderfreund Antishock features LEKI's new Super Lock System (SLS). Taking advantage of wide thread patterns and steep-angled lock adjustments, the SLS design allows for quick and easy adjustments and is up to 60 times more secure than other locking systems. The SLS locking system is far less prone to loosening while in use, giving you peace of mind even in challenging situations.

The Wanderfreund Antishock cane features LEKI's Soft Antishock System (SAS) Lite that reduces stress on the joints, muscles and ligaments. The combination of internal steel spring and elastomer creates a smooth and unique suspension system that is quieter and reduces shock more effectively than other designs. LEKI embeds the spring in the shaft of the lower pole section, which keeps the spring cleaner, requiring less maintenance. This featured can also be easily turned off when not needed.

The carbide flex tip deflects up to 30 degrees without damaging the lower pole section. This reduces the risk of pole breakage if the pole should get caught between rocks or tree roots on the trail. The rubber tip attachment makes the Wanderfreund Antishock suitable not only for the trail, but also for improved walking surfaces and indoors.

As testament to the strength and longevity of LEKI's designs, the Wanderfreund Antishock includes LEKI's lifetime warranty for shaft breakage.

Likes: It is light weight and has a good feel to it. The strap comes in handy when needing to use both hands. There is no need to set it down and possibly forgetting it.

Likes: As a long time backpacker I didn't think that I would ever want a travel staff but this LEKI device has been a nice addition to my outdoor travels. It's very lite and very changable to different terrians.

Dislikes: I think if it was slightly longer maybe 6 inches it would add a little more flexiablity of it use.

Likes: I purchased two of these for me and my wife. They are compact when collapsed, light, sturdy and strong. Perfect for our casual hiking trips to the mountains. We really like the handle in that we can change hand positions as needed. My preference is with the hook forward where the staff swings forward naturally when I walk. One additional benefit is that the grip can be used as a hook to grab a small tree etc. for help climbing a steep area.
