Product Highlights

Despite an entry-level price point, LEKI Summit COR-TEC Antishock poles provide rugged durability and consistent performance. An integrated shock absorption system and textured cork grips offer excellent value.

Summit COR-TEC Antishock trekking poles feature LEKI's Triple Spring Antishock System (TSA) that reduces stress on the joints, muscles and ligaments. An internal spring absorbs the impact each time the pole strikes the ground. LEKI embeds the spring in the shaft, which keeps the spring cleaner, requiring less maintenance. The spring can also be set at mid-range or turned off completely for more effective climbing.

LEKI's COR-TEC grip is made from 80% natural ground cork and 20% latex making it lightweight, strong and comfortable. The positive angle of the grip preserves a more neutral ergonomic position for your wrist and hand. Integrated straps further reduce stress on your wrists and provide additional security and comfort.

The Summit COR-TEC Antishock poles employ carbide flex tips that deflect up to 30 degrees without damaging the lower pole sections. This reduces the risk of pole breakage if the pole should get caught between rocks or tree roots on the trail. Standard trekking baskets are included and are interchangeable with a simple screw on/off design that stays secure. Optional snowflake and deep powder baskets (sold separately) allow the poles to be converted for winter use.

LEKI Summit COR-TEC Antishock poles are sold in pairs.

Likes: Quite sturdy, easy to use. Considering the price, it is really a good deal.

Likes: Just received these today so I haven't had a chance to hike with them, but upon initial examination and just walking around briefly with them, they seem to really fit the bill. They are light weight, easy to adjust and easily support my 234 lbs. I am looking forward to using them soon on a hike.

The service and quick shipping from Backcountry Edge is outstanding. They were here in just a couple of days. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thanks Backcountry Edge!

Likes: These poles are awesome. I bought the pair to try out backpacking down the the bottom of the Grand Canyon. They were a lifesaver. It was 100 times easier to use them going down hill and over the 1-2 foot drops with these poles especially with a 60lbs pack on. I was amazed that I didn't get blisters or sore arms either. They were just as good helping me climb up and out. They're light and I the locking mechanism worked well, had no trouble with them loosening up on me.

Dislikes: No issues at all with the product.

Likes: These poles are excellent, I hiked 20 miles with them and I came across some leaves that covered a hole in the ground. When I stepped on it and my foot started to twist I was able to use the poles to compensate and keep myself from spraining my ankle. I am really glad I had them.

Dislikes: The poles need a little more cushion on the handles, but other than that, they are great.

Likes: Ajustability of poles and straps. Seem to be pretty stutdy as I've inadvertantly put a fair amount of stress on them. They aid my fatigue issues with my MS.

Dislikes: Nothing I can think of.

Likes: The grip is comfortable to hold even in a hot and humid area. I will consider it a better choice than robber grip.

    Dislikes: Rubber tip not included
