Convert your LEKI trekking poles for winter use simply by swapping your standard baskets for LEKI Snowflake Baskets. Ideal for snowshoeing, cross-country skiing or winter hiking, the Snowflake Baskets keep your poles from sinking any deeper into the snow base than needed.
You can easily lock the threaded Snowflake Basket securely in place by passing the carbide tip of your LEKI pole through the center hole and turning the basket in a clockwise direction. To remove the Snowflake Basket or your existing basket, simply pull the basket toward you while turning it counter clockwise.
LEKI Snowflake Baskets are sold in pairs.

Likes: The snowflake baskets are great! Super easy to install onto my Leki Lhasa Lite Anti shock poles. Backcountry Edge has great customer service. I will order from them again!

Likes: The snow baskets look sturdy enough and large enough to serve the purpose for using the poles while winter hiking and snow shoeing. Can't wait to try them out next winter!

Likes: I plan to walk on snow covered trails this winter so I have not tried the snowflake basket yet, but looks like it is the same concept as a X-country ski basket to me

Likes: The snow basket as an add-on to the Leki hiking poles were a wonderful addition when snowshoeing this year! In the past I haven't had poles. My endurance went up and sore muscles were less as a result have having poles to help keep pace and the snowbaskets kept the poles in the right place at the right time.
Dislikes: Now and then the snow caked up on them, but it might just be the nature of this type of product in general.
