Likes: A good overall tip for hard surfaces. I use them in town some as I need my sticks for balance and walking. So in a store like Walmart I am at times using the poles more upright like the trekking position. That's when these tips are better than the slanted ones.

    Dislikes: Nothing I know of.

Likes: Essential accessory for all trekking poles, should come with them. Useful for hiking over rocks as well as pavement. Nice traction on the tip.

Dislikes: Should have come with the poles.

Likes: Have only tried the tips once at this time. They make the trekking poles truly all-purpose while on hard surfaced trails or roads. Better on the ears as well!

Dislikes: Nothing at this time - will have to see how they hold up with use.

    Likes: Nice.

Dislikes: Leki charges way too much for replacement parts, these are over 2x the cost of Black Diamond. Even though they have an excellent pole I'd by BD for that reason alone.

Likes: The rubber walking tip is good for you to walk on surface such as concrete road.

Dislikes: I may become bothersome if you walk on a trail where part is concrete surface...you get to remove the rubber and attach it back later...

Likes: These make walking on hard surfaces easy and are very easy to change on the go. Kicking myself for not buying them originally when I bought the poles.

Dislikes: Haven't run into any problems.

Likes: The tips are easy to apply to the poles, and appear to hold firm. As another reviewer mentioned, the rubber tips are a must for some outdoor areas - and also to avoid the annoying noise of the carbide tip hitting the pavement when walking on the level! These rubber tips seem sturdy, but it remains to be seen how durable they will prove to be with regular usage.

Dislikes: I feel that this product could be priced more reasonably, as it is a necessity to use the tips in some areas in order to follow "Leave No Trace Behind" principles. The shipping bumps up the cost of the tips even more.

Likes: The LEKI Rubber Walking Tips are a great idea and I was happy to have found them available from LEKI. They gave me the same feel and action of the standard pole tip when hiking over rocks, roads and other hard surfaces, but without the slipping and annoying click clacking noise.

Dislikes: I haven't used them enough to see how fast they wear down, but I suspect that my only complaint will be that they need to be replaced often. I hope this is not the case.

Likes: I think they are a great item to purchase along with your Leki poles to accomodate sidewalk, asphalt pathways

Dislikes: thought the cost was a little high

Likes: There are many instances where a rubber tip is a necessity. Indoors and even in some areas of State Parks (i.e. caves). It's great to have an extra even though they are durable and fit snugly. We keep a couple extras in the van when we travel.

    Dislikes: Nothing
