An excellent balance of price and performance, LEKI Plateau Antishock trekking poles employ durable aluminum construction, integrated shock absorption systems and textured, ergonomic grips to offer reliability at a budget-friendly price.
The positive angle of the COR-TEC grips preserves a more neutral ergonomic position for your wrist and hand. Made from 80% natural ground cork and 20% latex, the grips serve as tactile, comfortable handholds. Integrated straps further reduce stress on your wrists and provide additional security and comfort.
The Plateau Antishock’s internal locking mechanisms use wide thread patterns and steep-angled lock mechanisms to provide quick and easy adjustments. The locking system is far less prone to loosening while in use, giving you peace of mind even in challenging situations.
Antishock mechanisms reduce stress on the joints, muscles and ligaments. A combination of steel spring and elastomer creates a unique suspension system that is quieter and reduces shock more effectively than other designs. LEKI embeds the spring in the shaft, which keeps the spring cleaner, requiring less maintenance.
Carbide flex tips deflect up to 30 degrees without damaging the lower pole sections. This reduces the risk of shaft breakage if the pole should get caught between rocks or tree roots on the trail. Standard trekking baskets are included and are interchangeable with a simple screw on/off design that stays secure. Optional snowflake and deep powder baskets (sold separately) allow the poles to be converted for winter use.
LEKI Plateau Antishock trekking poles are sold in pairs.
