New for 2008! Combining lightweight design with features like antishock, advanced locking mechanisms and extended ergometric grips, LEKI's Devine Antishock Women's trekking poles provide female hikers and backpackers with support and durability at a weight of only 16 ounces per pair.

The Devine Antishock Women's trekking poles feature LEKI's Soft Antishock System (SAS) Lite that reduces stress on the joints, muscles and ligaments. The combination of internal steel spring and elastomer creates a smooth and unique suspension system that is quieter and reduces shock more effectively than other designs. LEKI embeds the spring in the shaft of the lower pole section, which keeps the spring cleaner, requiring less maintenance. This featured can also be easily turned off for more effective climbing.

Incorporating a positive angle into the extended, compact right and left hand grips, Devine Antishock Women's poles preserve a more neutral ergonomic position for your wrist and hand, allowing for comfort and precise tip placement. The extended length of the grips allows you to grasp the pole lower on the shaft, eliminating the need to shorten the length of the Devine Antishock Women's poles every time you encounter a steep slope or side hill traverse. Integrated straps further reduce stress on your wrists and provide additional security and comfort.

LEKI's Super Lock System (SLS) uses wide thread patterns and steep-angled lock mechanisms to provide quicker and easier adjustments and is up to 60 times more secure than other locking systems. The SLS locking system is far less prone to loosening while in use, giving you peace of mind even in challenging situations.

Devine Antishock Women's poles employ carbide flex tips that deflect up to 30 degrees without damaging the lower pole sections. This reduces the risk of pole breakage if the pole should get caught between rocks or tree roots on the trail. Standard trekking baskets are included and are interchangeable with a simple screw on/off design that stays secure. Optional snowflake and deep powder baskets (sold separately) allow the poles to be converted for winter use.
