Product Highlights

Weighing in at only 19.4 ounces per pair and featuring premium shock-absorption and easy-to-adjust external locking mechanisms, LEKI Corklite Antishock poles are ideal for thru-hikers and ounce-counting backpackers.

Corklite Antishock trekking poles feature LEKI's Soft Antishock System (SAS) Lite that reduces stress on the joints, muscles and ligaments. The combination of internal steel spring and elastomer creates a smooth and unique suspension system that is quieter and reduces shock more effectively than other designs. LEKI places the SAS Lite system closer to the point of impact by embedding it inside the shaft of the lower pole section, keeping the spring cleaner and requiring less maintenance.

Incorporating a 15-degree positive angle that preserves a natural position for your wrists, the dynamic, lightweight AERGON COR-TEC grips have an ovoid shape that can be palmed or held traditionally. The grip is made from 80% natural ground cork and 20% latex, making it strong and comfortable. A rubberized, dimpled top offers a textured grip point and easy-adjust straps reduce stress on your wrists and provide additional security and comfort.

LEKI's Speed Lock system utilizes an integrated stainless steel pressure plate to provide a secure lock and keep pole sections from slipping. The fiberglass-reinforced mechanism resists stretching so it retains its locking ability after repeated use. Adjusting pole length on-the-fly has never been easier.

Corklite Antishock poles employ carbide flex tips that deflect up to 30 degrees without damaging the lower pole sections. This reduces the risk of pole breakage if the pole should get caught between rocks or tree roots on the trail. Standard trekking baskets are included and are interchangeable with a simple screw on/off design that stays secure. Optional snowflake and deep powder baskets (sold separately) allow the poles to be converted for winter use.

LEKI Corklite Antishock trekking poles are sold in pairs.

Likes: The cork hand grips feel great in your hand and help to reduce slippage due to sweat. The two different locking systems are easy to adjust. As well as nice wide and felted wrist straps are very comfortable.

    Dislikes: Nothing as of yet.

  • Doug A. West Milford NJ

Likes: Got to try the poles out today and they are nice. Feel very sturdy on the trail. Helped me on some uneven rocky terrain and saved me from falling when I my foot slipped in the mud. The anti-shock system works well and is mostly not noticeable unless your concentrating on it. Adjusting the length is a breeze. The bottom section is a twist lock due to the AS system and the top lock is a lever that operates so smoothly and effortlessly that you might think it wont hold but it does. I'm over 220 lbs and put a lot of weight on it today going down hill and it held up just fine.

Dislikes: I do wish the wrist straps were a bit more padded, but they aren't uncomfortable.

  • Lisa B. Madison WI

Likes: Very nice cork handle, light for an aluminum anti-shock pole.

Dislikes: Two sections need adjusting to the desired height marking for each height change, but only one had speed lock.

  • Benjamin H. beachwood OH

Likes: Poles are better than I excepted. The cork handles are comfortable and the shock system is kind to my wrists. I find that I hike and walk much more efficiently with them. I am truly sold on trekking poles now. I was unsure about them when I bought them. These will become a big part of my hiking adventures from now on. I pack them first!

    Dislikes: Liked everything
