Built for on-the-go parents, the Lafuma Walkid is an excellent balance of price and performance. Adjustability in the integrated seat allows the Walkid Liftback to accommodate your growing child.

A 5-point harness and soft, fully padded Terinda child seat ensure the safety and comfort of your little adventurer. A soft foam chest plate holds your child in place and combats rubs and hot spots. As your child grows, the height of the child seat adjusts to provide the ideal position for riding comfortably in the Walkid. A foam chin pad further protects your child and can be removed for easy washing.

The Walkid’s fully padded backpanel and rigid aluminum frame provide support and stability. User-friendly push-button locking joints release a fold-out support bar that enables the Walkid to stand securely on its own. NOTE: This feature is not designed to have the Walkid function as an actual child seat, but it does provide a stable base for loading and unloading your child. When the Walkid is in use, the support bar folds compactly against the carrier frame. The Walkid Liftback has a carrying capacity of just over 45.5 pounds, including child, carrier and gear.

Lafuma’s AB suspension system provides adjustability for torsos varying from 14”-21” in length. To make adjustments, you simply undo the shoulder straps’ integrated Velcro fastening band, slide the straps to the appropriate height and reattach the band. Ample padding in the Walkid’s backpanel, shoulder straps, lumbar cushion and hipbelt increases support and comfort. A sliding, sternum strap and load-lifter straps further enhance fit and aid in load distribution.

A large pocket tucked underneath the Walkid’s child seat provides expansive storage for diapers, clothes or gear. A second, zippered front pocket provides an additional storage option. Mesh, stretch side pockets are perfect for bottles or other small essentials. A detachable sun visor is included to protect your child from glare and UV rays. Reflective highlights enhance the visibility of the Walkid, adding a measure of safety.
