Product Highlights

Delivering 3-season camping performance at an affordable price, the Lafuma Ecrins 30 Degree sleeping bag provides a roomy fit and a 30-degree rating. Despite the entry-level price, the Ecrins 30 Degree bag offers an array of features.

The Ecrins 30 Degree bag is insulated with Aero Fiber synthetic fill. Unlike down fill, lofty and compressible Aero Fiber insulation is water-resistant and provides warmth even when wet. This is particularly important if you'll be camping in wet or humid climates.

Baffled construction distributes insulation evenly and locks cold air outside of the Ecrins 30 Degree bag. An insulated hood and 3/4-length zipper further increase thermal efficiency and keep cold air outside.

Additional features found on the Ecrins 30 Degree sleeping bag include two-way locking zippers, snag-free zipper guards, a pillow sleeve in the hood and an internal valuables pocket. A stuff sack is included.

The Lafuma Ecrins 30 Degree sleeping bag is sized to fit to 6' 5".

Likes: Great beginner sleeping bag; nothing fancy and doesn't require much to any upkeep. Definitely worth the considerably low price.

Dislikes: It does not compress very well, even with a Compression Sack. So it takes up a lot of room in my pack when I take it backpacking.

  • David G. Austin TX

Likes: This bag is a very nice bag for the price. My scale shows it at 3 lb 7.3 oz and i measure it in the stuff sack to be 16" long by 8.5" wide max. I have used it in 50 degree weather and the bag was very comfortable. The lining is a polyester cotton blend and the outer shell is a very nice heavy polyester so it is stiff.

Dislikes: It only comes with a stuff sack not a compression stuff sack But is still is not a very large bag.

Likes: Unbeatable price. Bought this for my significant other who has never really been camping (I'm an avid backpacker) so was a great buy for an 'introductory' bag to the great outdoors! Having never slept in a mummy bag, naturally he was a bit apprehensive to the idea the first night, but was snoring a few hours later :)

Dislikes: The fabric on the outside of the is a bit stiff and rather loud/crinkley when you move about in it. Hoping it'll soften up with use. Also, no extra insulation in foot box area made for some cold feet two mornings.
