Komperdell T2 Thermogrip Foam II Powerlock poles are ideal for snowshoeing, backpacking or mountaineering. Easy-to-use external locks, aluminum construction and extended length grips combine to provide these 2-section poles with versatile performance.
EVA-foam grips provide the poles with secure, ergonomic handholds and integrated, adjustable straps reduce strain on your wrists. A Thermofoam grip zone extends several inches below the standard grips, allowing the pole to be held lower on the shaft, thus eliminating the need to shorten the pole every time you encounter a steep slope.
The external locks found on T2 Thermogrip Foam II Powerlock poles are far easier to adjust than the internal locking mechanisms used on many telescoping poles. Simply push open the locking tab, adjust the poles to the required length (33.9”-59”) and snap the tab back into place.
T2 Thermogrip Foam II Powerlock poles can be converted for winter use by replacing the standard touring baskets (included) with one of the several styles of snow baskets (sold separately). Tungsten/Carbide flex tips are designed to flex if the tip of the pole should get stuck, helping to protect the shafts from structural damage.
