The Southern Cross pole's three telescoping sections are constructed of a sturdy aluminum alloy. The hiqh-frequency welded and drawn tubes are strong, lightweight and corrosion-resistant. Ergonomic grips include integrated straps that help to reduce stress on your wrists.

A pair of Vario trekking baskets is included for improved traction. Optional winter and deep powder baskets (sold separately) are available to convert Southern Cross poles for use in snow and on ice.
