The Guide Antishock Titanal's 4 telescopic sections are constructed of super lightweight, high-performance Titanal HF. Though sharing comparable mechanical properties with steel, Titanal weighs only one third the weight of steel. Strong, light, and highly resistant to abrasion and corrosion, Titanal gives the Guide Antishock Titanal strength and durability.

Utilizing a dual wedge locking mechanism, the Komperdell Duo-Lock system provides a secure lock between the Guide Antishock Titanal's pole sections. This reduces the chances of an inopportune pole collapse and lends sturdiness and stability to your poles. The tungsten/carbide tip found on the Guide Antishock Titanal is designed to flex if the tip of the pole gets stuck, helping to protect the shaft of the pole from structural damage.
