Komperdell's Contour Titanal Antishock Light trekking poles feature a slimmed-down pneumatic dampening system that provides superior shock absorbing performance. Constructed of strong, lightweight Titanal alloy, Contour Titanal Antishock Light trekking poles provide rugged reliability at a weight that won't slow you down.

The primary feature of the Contour Titanal Antishock Light trekking poles is the streamlined, air piston dampening mechanism. This system improves upon traditional spring mechanisms, providing responsive cushioning that react in relation to the strength of the impact of the poles. A built-in mechanism allows you to easily disengage the antishock system for more effective performance on steep terrain.

Contoured EVA foam grips provide an ergonomic, comfortable handhold. By extending far down the Contour Titanal Antishock Light poles, these grips offer a secondary grip zone that allows you to adjust where you grasp the poles and eliminates the need to shorten or extend the poles each time you encounter a steep slope. Integrated straps help to reduce stress on your wrists.

Though far lighter than steel, the Titanal alloy employed by Contour Titanal Antishock Light poles is comparable in strength. In addition, Titanal is highly resistant to abrasion and corrosion. The Tungsten/Carbide tips provide traction on unimproved surfaces and protect the shafts of the poles from structural damage by flexing if and when poles get stuck between rocks or in cracks.

A pair of Vario trekking baskets is included for improved traction. Optional winter and deep powder baskets (sold separately) are available to convert Contour Titanal Antishock Light poles for use in snow and on ice.
