Product Highlights
Komperdell's Carbon Tour Power Lock trekking poles are a feather-light option for hiking, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. Though extremely sleek and lightweight, the carbon shafts of the Carbon Tour Power Lock trekking poles are surprisingly strong. An external locking system makes adjusting the length of the poles quick and easy.
Carbon Tour Power-Lock trekking poles feature Komperdell's soft and shock-absorbing Alpine Full Foam grips. Neoprene-padded wrist straps make usage of the Carbon Tour Power Lock poles more comfortable and ensure that the poles don't fall to the ground if you lose your grip. Several inches below the standard grips, the upper pole sections have a patented G'reptile grip zone, allowing the pole to be held lower on the shaft, thus eliminating the need to shorten the pole every time you encounter a steep slope. Rubberized, textured details on the lower pole section make adjusting your poles easy even while wearing thick gloves or mittens.
Komperdell's lightweight and easy-to-use external Power Lock mechanisms provides a secure lock between the upper and lower pole sections. This system simplifies length adjustments and lends sturdiness and stability to your Carbon Tour Power Lock poles. The tungsten/carbide flex tips found on the Carbon Tour Power Lock poles are designed to flex if the tip of the pole gets stuck, helping to protect the shaft of the pole from structural damage.
The maximum length of the Carbon Tour Power Lock trekking poles is 57.1 inches. Because the poles consist of only two telescopic sections, the shortest collapsible length is only 45.3 inches.
Large winter baskets are included and several styles of Komperdell baskets (sold separately) are available to convert the Carbon Tour Power Lock trekking poles for use on varying terrain and during different seasons.
Komperdell Carbon Tour Power Lock trekking poles are sold in pairs.
