Product Highlights

The innovative Klymit Static V inflatable sleeping pad is an excellent balance of price, performance, weight and packed size. A unique, pocketed V-chamber design helps to hold the warmth of your body and provides excellent support and comfort.

The strategically oriented V-chambers offer a comfortable sleeping base but also help to trap air and keep you warmer than traditional inflatable pads. Horizontally-baffled side rails help to keep you situated on your pad at night and also provide some flexibility should you choose to use the Static V inside of your sleeping bag. Because of its weight-shaving design, the Static V inflates in just 10-12 breaths and the integrated valve makes inflation and deflation easy while ensuring a secure closure.

The Static V measures a generous 72" x 23" x 2.5" but packs down to 8" x 4" and weighs just 20 ounces. These dimensions are perfect for 3-season backpacking and allow the Static V to be coupled with another pad for comfortable snow camping or winter usage.

Constructed of durable 75D polyester, each Klymit Static V inflatable sleeping pad includes a patch kit and a stuff sack.

Likes: This pad is very comfortable. It packs up very small and is light. I didn't slide off the pad during the night. Highly recommend for three season backpacking.

Dislikes: I don't think this pad would keep your warm below 40 degrees.

Likes: Packs really small & is lightweight. You don't slide around on it like other pads.

Dislikes: not real warm in cold weather

Likes: First of all, this thing is really comfortable. The weird looking air baffles create a nice double benefit of a thick cushion of air and little negative spaces that your body heats up, giving a little extra warmth. True to the description, this only takes about 9 deep breaths to fill. I'm 6'2" and about 160 and I can get my entire body on this without hanging over the top or bottom and when lying flat there are no weird saggy parts. One of the coolest things is that this packs down to just a little taller but about the same diameter as a coke can. Really light, but also super comfortable, I'm surprised this hasn't gotten more attention.

Dislikes: Everything is good so far. Haven't had it for long enough to speak on long-term durability yet.

Likes: Excellent pad for weight savings. Can't beat the size in its stuff sack.

Dislikes: I found my arms laying in the channels between the inflated padding, which was not very comfortable for me (nor my wife). The other issue I had is it felt like a 20" wide pad when inflated...not 23". When measuring the part that was actually inflated, it was only about 21" wide.
